The Pagoda Tea Tray is inspired by the architecture of Chinese pagodas, and when stacked, each tray structure forms the silhouette of one of the pagoda’s eaves. Yatofu Creatives has meticulously refined every line and plane of the Pagoda Tea Tray to achieve concise and elegant proportions, while allowing the trays to be functional and flexible in their stacking arrangements and utensil displays.
The tray is made using oxidized black steel, a material chosen for its rawness in contrast to the refined and delicate quality of tea. The material also manifests a unique luster due to the traces of use, producing an everchanging surface whose quality and beauty evolves with time.
