Pine Series
The use of pine as a durable building material has long been esteemed in Finnish craftsmanship. Through the Pine pine collection, Yatofu explores innovative approaches to utilizing traditional local materials in crafting contemporary furniture pieces.
The collection features a bar table and chair set, a round stool, and a bench. Yatofu revitalizes warm Nordic pine wood with striking contrast. Inspired by brutalist art and architecture, the table and chair set stands out with its clean design and vibrant tomato red wood stain, creating a dynamic and modern focal point.
The design of the round stools and benches features A-shaped legs, ensuring a relaxed aesthetic while minimizing material waste. Remaining materials are ingeniously repurposed for support and reinforcement, showcasing a commitment to sustainability and resourcefulness.
